About Me

I am inspired by the artists I work with and have a passion for supporting them to make and promote the work they are compelled to create.

I am interested in exploring the way that art forms can collaborate and inform each other. It is important to me that all of my work is digitally connected, because I see the internet as an exciting and innovative space for the Arts to create within, share work and explore.

I have a practical knowledge of the performing arts which means that I have a diverse range of skills to offer the creative individuals and organisations I work with. I strive to combine creativity with structure and efficiency, making sure there is a balance between the two elements of my work. It is my responsibility to create organised and strong structures in which creativity can flourish.

Administrative & Communications Support

Communications (Press, Marketing and Social Media) is an integral part of every project I work on. My producing and promoting work often interweaves and it is hard to separate those areas of my work. Another branch of my work is that I provide specialist temporary support to larger organisations.

I provide administration assistance in the form of tasks associated with the general day to day running of an office and on more specific projects such as the collating of an online archive.

I regularly assist National Theatre Wales' Communications Department on specific tasks. For example, I have provided press assistance on the shows: In Water I'm Weightless, Coriolan/us, De Gabay and Praxis Makes Perfect. This has ranged from liaising with journalists, planning and organising the logistics of Press Nights, assisting the Media Officer with the running of Press Nights and accompanying film crews. I, also, assist on the day to day tasks of running a marketing campaign and keeping online sites up to date.

This year I have started offering social media training. The training I provide is flexible as to the needs of the group or individuals I am working with. I prefer to tailor training sessions and so everyone specifically caters for the needs of those being trained.

I prefer to tailor training sessions and so everyone specifically caters for the needs of those being trained. So far I have provided training for National Theatre Wales TEAM in two areas: 'Social Media: Getting Started' and 'Social Media and Creative Promoting'.

If you'd like to talk to me more about the training I can offer please get in touch.
